While the WEIRDest People in the World did not make the Top 10 Books of 2020 List, it was highlighted as one of only two nonfiction releases on the shortlist for this honor. Gal Beckerman calls THE WEIRDEST PEOPLE IN THE WORLD a "great big ambitious argument book" and says it's great for readers who like a book that presents "a theory of everything."
